# Log files

The output from Cover CLI is displayed to the screen or to standard output/error. This will also include error messages where appropriate.

## User logs

More detailed information from the tool can be found in the user log files in the directory in which Cover was run:

`WORKING_DIRECTORY/.diffblue/log/user-TIMESTAMP.log`

A new log file, with an appropriate TIMESTAMP, is created each time Cover is run.

## Support logs

Cover CLI also creates a `support-TIMESTAMP.log` log file, in the same directory, which is only relevant to the Diffblue support team. If you raise a support issue then you may be asked to provide this log file.
